End of year 2025
As an extension to the “Know Your Area “ project, at the end of the year we organized a scavenger hunt in the area around the school. Parents played too and it was a lot of fun.

B Class project
This year, B class have been doing a series of projects about our area and its history. They researched details about The Samaria Gorge, historical occupations and the traditional food of Cretans in the past. The project ended with a tour of the old town and the archeological museum in Halepa.
Local Palso & Make a Wish
The local Palso association campaigned to raise money on behalf of the Make a Wish foundation. Children in all Palso schools contributed and the project was a big success with a sale of 1000 stars.
Sports 2024
End of year charity sports day. This year, we raised money for “Megalohari”. We organized a range of activities at Harodias football ground. Both parents and children had a lot of fun and we raised 1173 euros.
Drama Club
The drama club excelled themselves this year. They performed “Α Comedy of Errors” which was taken from the original and “translated” into modern language. It was performed at Vlisidis theatre and was truly a display of remarkable talent.
Chinese New Year. February 2025
As our celebrations week 2025, we chose Chinese New Year. The children studied the legend of how animals of the lunar new year calendar came about, learned about food, fortunes and traditional Chinese dragon dancing. Great fun!
Celebration Week 2024
Celebration week at Big Ben always held during Greek Carnival this year featured a Scottish story telling celebration called “Whuppiti Scorie” and the Irish St Patricks day. Lots of fun creating stories, searching for gold at the end of the rainbow and Irish dancing.
End of term
Our end of term celebration this year featured poetry written by our students and comedy sketches written and performed by Lower and pre lower classes.
Charity Flash Mob 2022
The Charity flash mob 2022 event took place on 17th June and was organized by 8 Foreign Language Schools- members of Palso in Chania. They joined forces and raised awareness among students, teachers, educational staff and parents by presenting the song “This is my fight song” -both in English and Sign Language, receiving huge attendance […]
