Again, our students proved how talented they are as musicians dancers, writers and actors. This year we performed a modernized version of the lorax by Dr Seuss highlighting the effects of fast fashion on the environment.

At the end of the 2026 school year, we organized a charity event. With the help of the fabulous Cretan Gunners we learned the basic rules and moves of rugby and raised money for our local animal charity.

Our project this year was based on the Dr Seuss story The Lorax. The children took part in a range of activities from story ordering and fashion shows to the invention and presentation of a totally unnecessary product. The activities were all based on the messages in the story related to waste and the environment.

As an extension to the “Know Your Area “ project, at the end of the year we organized a scavenger hunt in the area around the school. Parents played too and it was a lot of fun.

This year, B class have been doing a series of projects about our area and its history. They researched details about The Samaria Gorge, historical occupations and the traditional food of Cretans in the past. The project ended with a tour of the old town and the archeological museum in Halepa.
